The ‘contraptions’ are now installed to control traffic both to calle El Barrio from calle Diputacion and towards the Balcon de Europa, although the poles on their own would not be enough as it would be easy to go round them, even in a lorry. Either more sunken poles will be added or the shincrushers will remain.
Since the other week when the Guardia Civil swooped to confiscate the entire stock of fish of the avenida Castilla street sellers, no (visible) signs of either fish or veggies. I say ‘visible’ signs because the actual sellers still gather on the corner of calle Diputacion each morning as usual, just no fish on show.
