Coín Council has put out to tender the contract for the second phase of work on the second indoor swimming pool being built in the municipality.
The first phase of the work on the pool, a 40 year old outdoor pool in Monte Hoyo, involved the installation of changing rooms.
The second phase involves the roof and the installation of heating for the pool. The budget for the project is €200,000.
There will be two ways of getting to the new pool, one entrance in calle José María Pemán and the other through the building housing the changing rooms.
