The Blue and Whites came from a goal down to beat fellow strugglers Almeria 3-1 at La Rosaleda last night, moving up to the dizzy heights of penultimate place in La Liga.
Feghouli put Almeria ahead after just 8 minutes and it stayed that way until the second half. Maresca made it 1-1 in the 52nd minute and then goals from Rondón and Juanmi sealed a rare win for Málaga.
Almeria were, however, down to nine men when the Blue and Whites took the lead, Ulloa and Luna having been given their marching orders.
