Taxi drivers in Granada are asking the authorities to take measures to prevent further attacks on drivers after a wave of violent robberies in the sector.
Police in Pinos Puente have already arrested one man, a 43 year old, who is allegedly responsible for at least three robberies.
Several taxi drivers have been injured in a series of violent robberies which have taken place since May of last year. The last robbery was on February 25th in Zujaira-Pinos Puente.
On this occasion, the robber, a known felon, was arrested.
