Three people have been detained in connection with the fatal stabbing on Sunday morning of a youth in Conil de la Frontera, Cádiz province.
Two of the suspects are being held in Conil and one in Chiclana and all three are due to appear in court on Tuesday.
The incident occurred at around 06:25 on Sunday morning a man met with a woman on calle Chiclana and was then attacked by a group of three youths. During the scuffle, one of the youths produced a knife and the man was stabbed twice, one wound being to the jugular.
The wounded man was taken to the local Health Centre and then rushed to hospital in Puerto Real but doctors were unable to save his life and he died at 10:30.
