Police in Salobreña, Granada province, are trying to identify the body of a man found floating in the water on Sunday afternoon between playa del Peñón and playa de la Caleta.
The man was discovered at 13:20 on Sunday afternoon after several people reported seeing what looked like a body floating in the water about twenty metres from shore.
The body was removed at 15:15 and an autopsy is being carried out to determine the cause of death. Akk that is currently known is that the man is in his forties.
