A small earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale was recorded at 13:14 on Monday afternoon and was felt in areas of the Granada and Almeria coast.
The epicentre of the tremor was at sea a few kilometres south of Albuñol, Granada province, and was reported by residents in Castell de Ferro and Adra.
There are no reports of any damage, either to persons or property.
