Actors and others from the series ‘Verano Azul’ will be in Nerja on October 11th and 12th as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of the hit TV series.
At 20:00 there will be an official reception for the actors at the Hotel Balcón de Europa and at 21:30 the entourage heads to the Nerja Cultural Centre in calle Granada where they will meet the public. There will be a showing of the first ever episode of Verano Azul, originally broadcast on October 11th 1981 and there will also be a prize draw for three bicycles.
At 11:00 on Wednesday morning there will be a bike ride through Nerja from the Balcon de Europa to parque Verano Azul. The actors and media will be in a carriage representing the fictional boat ‘La Dorada’ and there will be frequent stops en route.
At the end of the ‘tour’ there will be a homage to Antonio Ferrandis which will take place next to the replica ‘La Dorada’ in the parque Verano Azul. All those participating in the day’s events will receive a commemorative T-shirt.
