Two Spanish charity workers kidnapped in Kenya

Gunmen have kidnapped two Spanish doctors working for the medical charity Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) not far from Kenya’s border with Somalia.

The two charity workers were seized near the Ifo refugee camp, one of three areas that make up Dadaab, about 80km from the Somali border. Dadaab houses 450,000 refugees which, if it were a city, would make it Kenya’s third-largest.

Their Kenyan driver was injured during the attack and is now in hospital.
