A couple in Torre del Mar have been arrested on suspicion of abusing their three and a half month old baby.
The baby was born in late June and after only 22 days needed treatment for bruises to the ribs, arm and for a retinal hemorrhage. The father was arrested for physical abuse.
On October 9th the baby was admitted to hospital with a fracture to one arm and various scratches and has remained hospitalised ever since. The parents have been arrested and the baby has been placed under the guardianship of the Court while an investigation is carried out.
