Casey Stoner produced a late charge to win in Valencia as MotoGP remembered Marco Simoncelli. The riders in all three racing classes gathered for a tribute before the race to Simoncelli who was killed in the Malaysian MotoGP.
Stoner escaped an early collision which saw four riders crash and overtook Ben Spies on the final corner to win his 10th race of the year.
