Police in Sevilla have arrested nine people in connection with the smuggling of tobacco, seizing around 130,000 packs of cigarettes.
The gang brought the tobacco into Spain from abroad for the purpose of selling it. During the investigation, codenamed ‘Operación Plantanera’, police seized 11 vehicles and €240,000 in cash.
