The number of violent attacks against medical staff in Spain increased by 9.2% in 2011 when compared to 2010, with 26% of attacks occurring in Andalucia.
In terms of the total number of attacks on medical personnel, Madrid tops the list followed by Barcelona, Valencia and Cádiz. Málaga occupies sixth place, Granada seventh and Sevilla eighth.
