MotoGP rider Dani Pedrosa is one of twenty-one people arrested on Saturday in connection with an alleged plot to purchase captain’s licences for pleasure craft.
Pedrosa was reportedly one of ten who were apparently wearing earpieces during the examinations. The masterminds behind the scheme are also amongst the detainees.
Seven of the detainees are reported to have assumed the identities of others, sitting the exams in their place.
