A 73 year old man has been arrested for allegedly pushing his 70 year old partner off the balcony of their home in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona.
The incident occurred at around 07:50 this morning, a neighbour discovering the body of the woman on the street. The detainee has no prior record and there appears to have been no history of complaints within the family unit.
This is the twentieth domestic violence fatality of the year so far.
