Fuengirola Council is set to start a programme of repairs to around 60 roads which suffered damage during the rains.
The repairs are set to begin this week and last about a month. The project is costing around €60,000 and will start in Marbella followed by San Pedro, Nueva Andalucía and finally Las Chapas.
The rains caused a number of potholes in the roads posing a potential danger not only to drivers but also pedestrians.
