Susie Wolff given first opportunity to impress for Williams at this week’s ‘young driver’ test at Silverstone.
On the face of it, very good. She raced in the DTM German touring car championship for seven years, best result ninth. However, 30 cannot considered ‘young’ in Formula 1. Hope she does well, though, great opportunity. Susie, by the way, is married to Toto Wolff, Mercedes director of motorsport, executive director (business) of the Mercedes F1 team, and a shareholder in Williams.
