A 34-year-old Moroccan national found dead a few days ago in an apartment he rented in Algarroba had sixty packets of hashish in his body, several of which had broken open.
The landlord, also a Moroccan national, had gone to visit his friend. After knocking several times he looked through the window and saw his friend sitting motionless in a chair. Having a set of keys he let himself in and found his friend dead in the chair.
An autopsy revealed that the man, 34-year-old H.Y., had sixty packets of hashish hidden inside his body. Several of these had broken open and caused an infection which led to his death.
The deceased had travelled to Morocco a few days earlier.
