An eleven-year-old boy died on Friday afternoon after being hit by a car in Riotinto, Huelva province.
The boy was apparently playing in the square when he strayed onto the road just as the car was passing.
The driver of the vehicle tested negative for alcohol and drugs and was apparently within the specified speed limit for the area.
The Council has suspended their Christmas activities.
