Guardia Civil officers have seized 1,650 kilos of hashish on El Chinarral beach in Algeciras, Cádiz.
After a suspicious boat was detected approaching El Chinarral beach, Guardia Civil land patrols were alerted. Upon reaching the beach, the officers noticed a group of people unloading packages from the boat into a 4×4.
The smugglers fled the scene, as so often happens, but officers managed to chase, catch and arrest one of them. The Guardia Civil is now trying to determine the identities of the other individuals involved.
