A dream start for Real Madrid in their local derby with Atlético, Benzema finding the net after just three minutes, but by half time it was the visitors who were in the lead through Koke and Gabi.
The match ebbed and flowed, each team dominating for short periods and there were plenty of chances on both sides. It was Ronaldo who actually found the net in the 82nd minute to earn his team a draw which keeps them at the top of La Liga. But only by one point.

The Barcelona defence once again showed signs of weakness, and a better team might have made them pay for some sloppy play, but it was not a match that Barca ever looked like losing.
