Some great performances by athletes from the Nerja Athletics Club in the Spanish Junior Indoor Championships held in Valencia at the weekend, with gold, silver and bronze medals.
Virginia Martín was proclaimed champion and won the gold medal in the high jump with a mark of 1.64 metres.
Alejandro Matantú gained silver in the triple jump with a leap of 14.17 metres and there was a bronze medal in the shot putt for Cristina Trejo who chucked the weight a distance of 12.82 metres.
