The National Police have launched an appeal for help to locate a man of Rumanian origin who killed his wife last night in Almeria, even posting his photo on Twitter.

The killing took place on Friday night in Almeria, the man allegedly killing his wife, a 32-year-old Rumanian national called María Muresanu.
The couple lived with their two children, aged 8 and 11 years, in a shanty town in Almeria. Shortly after the killing the man fled to Valencia but is now thought he could be heading to Barcelona in an attempt to leave the country. However, nothing is known for certain and the police are appealing to the public for help in locating the alleged killer.
The children have been taken into care by the Junta de Andalucia.
