Ronda Council is proposing to carry out repairs and improvements to the Parque de la Alameda del Tajo using a €250,000 grant from the provincial authority, the project to start after the summer.
The emblematic Parque de la Alameda del Tajo is one of the most visited areas of the town and the improvements include strengthening the balcony and replacement of some of the clay with concrete of the same colour.
Also planned are repairs to the steps of the Teatro Municipal Vicente Espinel and finding a solution to water leakage problems in the area. The playground will be moved to a new location next to the duck pond. The work is expected to last about four months.
