An 85-year-old woman had to be taken to hospital on Saturday night after suffering from smoke inhalation following a fire at her home in Marbella.
The fire occurred shortly after midnight and originated in the kitchen of the house in calle San Antonio, Marbella, a frying pan being the source. The fire caused heavy smoke and the woman was transferred to the Hospital Costa del Sol after she fainted.
There was no serious damage to the rest of the house.
