A cyclist died and three others were slightly injured on Sunday morning in Motilla del Palancar, Cuenca, after being hit by a passenger vehicle, the driver of which initially tried to flee the scene.
The incident occurred at 08:14 on the CM-2202, about three kilometres from Cuenca. The driver of the vehicle tested positive for excess alcohol and was promptly arrested.
The injured were rushed to hospital in Albacete.
