Two people died in the early hours of Friday morning following a head-on collision between a passenger vehicle and a van on the A-92 in Moraleda de Zafayona, Granada,
The incident was first reported at 03:47 and occurred at km 208 of the A-92 in Moraleda de Zafayona. The deceased were a 35-year-old man from Atarfe and a 51-year-old man from Gójar.
It is thought that the younger driver in a passenger vehicle became confused at the entrance to the highway and started heading down the wrong carriageway, subsequently colliding head-on with the van. Both drivers died at the scene.
