The migrant invasion continues with 49 more small boats being intercepted on Tuesday with around 470 passengers on board.
Many of the new arrivals are being taken to the municipal sports centre in Tarifa as the local holding centre is already at full capacity.
The Red Cross are attending to the passengers as they arrive and only has so far needed medical treatment. Amongst the latest arrivals are 49 women and 15 children.
