Five people died when a passenger vehicle collided with an articulated lorry in the municipality of Alcalá de Xivert in Castellón.
The incident occurred at 02:17 at km 1,028 of the CN-340 in Alcalá de Xivert. The reasons for the crash are not yet known.
The five victims, all sub-Saharans, were travelling in the passenger vehicle. The driver of the lorry was unhurt.
