Police and firefigters are continuing the search for a youth who went missing while swimming in the rio Guadalquivir in Córdoba.
The 19-year-old youth had gone bathing with friends in the river near the Botanical Garden, but at around 20:00 he disappeared from sight and his companions alerted the authorities. The search continued overnight with lights mounted on the shore and on zodiacs.
The search is currently being conducted not only in the area where the youth was last seen but also in the area around the Puente de Andalucia.
