The consumer organisation FACUA believes that there will be a significant rise in electricity prices for the average user as a result of the new government pricing system.
According to FACUA, the cost of electricity in August was the most expensive of the year and this will lead to a significant rise in the price to consumers for the rest of the year.
FACUA also accused the government of allowing the power companies to raise prices without any control.
