The main theory for the slab of temporary concrete in calle El Barrio is that it will be used at some time to house a crane or other piece of equipment equipped with stabilisers in order to prevent damage to the area.
Other theories, less credible, have been that it is a floor or roof element to be hoisted into position, or a sort of mat to stop falling debris, perhaps from a demolition, from damaging the road.
