A diver has died while performing maintenance work at a power plant in Los Barrios, the second industrial fatality in Algeciras within twenty-four hours.
The 35-year-old diver was carrying out maintenance work on the cooling system at the plant and was taking pictures to check the status of the installation when he was sucked into one of the pipes.
Once rescued from the pipe, medics tried to revive the diver but were unsuccessful.
