Mushroom time in the Serrania de Ronda

It is the mushroom season in the Serrania de Ronda and the Valle del Genal, with its chestnut trees, always produces some good specimens and this year is no exception.

One of the restaurants in the area, Restaurante Audalázar in Atajate, has come up with a specimen weighing in at 2.3 kilos. Fungi of one kilo are fairly common, but this one is much bigger than the average.
