Four mayors have now resigned as a result of Operation Púnica, the latest being caught red-handed trying to remove documentation from his office.
Antonio Sanchez, mayor of Serranillos del Valle, was reportedly caught red-handed as he attempted to remove documentation from his office. The documents were seized by the Guardia Civil.
