One of the cafeterias in the Hospital Reina Sofia in Córdoba has been closed on health grounds, although it is being stressed that the problems have at no time jeopardised the health of patients.
The Junta de Andalucia is not ruling out sanctions against the concessionaire relating to the unspecified infringements of hygiene regulations in force for such establishments.
An investigation has been launched into the situation and punitive measures are not being ruled out. In the meantime the concessionaire is working to reopen the cafeteria shortly.
