Police have located the body of 76-year-old Araceli Cobo, an Alzheimer sufferer, who went missing in Baena on November 2nd 2014.
The woman, who lived in Barcelona but was spending a few days in Baena, was last seen at midday on Sunday November 2nd and search patrols were organised. The search effort was extended to Jaén after someone reported seeing her there but the body, badly decomposed, was found near the area she was staying.
Araceli Cobo had been out walking with her husband in an olive grove he owned. He decided to let her sit while he did a bit of work in the field but when he returned she had gone.
The body reportedly showed no signs of violence.
