The standing committee of the Nerja Caves Foundation has approved a proposal to rename the ‘Temporary Exhibition Hall’ at the Nerja Museum the ‘Ana María Márquez Hall’ – ‘Sala Ana María Márquez’.
Ana María Márquez, an archaeologist, was director of the Nerja History Museum from December 10th 2013 until August 8th 2014 when she was brutally murdered by her partner in another tragic case of domestic violence.
