A 14-year.old boy suffered severe head injuries while cycling after falling into a one metre deep hole which, for reasons as yet unknown, was left uncovered.
The accident occurred at 19:20 on Sunday near Puerta de Castro in Linares, Jaén province. The uncovered hole was apparently full of water. Police are investigating the incident.
The boy is now in the San Agustín hospital in Linares.
