A man has died in a fire at his home in Girona, the blaze necessitating the evacuation of thirty residents from the other floors of the building.
The fire broke out at 02:30, for reasons as yet unknown, on the sixth floor of a building in calle Agudes, Girona.
Once the fire had been extinguished, firefighters discovered the body of a young man in the apartment. Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
