Firefighters find body while attending a fire in Sevilla

Firefighters attending a blaze on the San Pablo industrial estate in Sevilla discovered the body of a middle-aged man who had died several days earlier.

The fire occurred on the ground floor of a five-storey building and three people were overcome by smoke. As the smoke reached other apartments in the building, the firefighters began checking the dwellings and it was then that they found the body.

The man had apparently died from natural causes three days earlier.

Three people, including a four-year-old child, suffered smoke inhalation and needed treatment in the Virgen del Rocio hospital in Sevilla.
