Cristiano Ronaldo has been given a two-match ban following his sending-off for kicking out at Córdoba defender Edimar on Saturday.
The referee missed an earlier punch by Ronaldo but was on the spot when he lashed out at Edimar and sent him packing. Ronaldo will miss the next two La Liga games against Real Sociedad and Sevilla but will be available for the derby against Atletico Madrid.
