The body of a 45-year-old was found on Friday at her home in the Arroyo de San Sebastián district of Vélez-Málaga.
The police were notified after a telecare worker reported being unable to get into the house for a scheduled visit. Police and firefighters discovered the body of the woman on the floor of the living room and there was a small amount of smoke in the air.
The Judicial Police are investigating whether the death was caused by smoke inhalation.
