The Council is planning to introduce a new procession of thrones this Easter and this will take place on March 29th 2015.
A set of rules have been established for this new parade and these will be published shortly, but the basics are that the images must not be more than 70 cm in height, each throne may not have more than 25 participants, correct dress must be worn and any insignias must be hand crafted.
Also, the upper age limit for participation in this parade is 12 years. The procession is open to any individuals or groups, unlike the rest of the processions, and anyone interested should present their details at the Nerja Cultural Centre, calle Granada 45.
The Council will provide the thrones for any interested individuals or groups.
