A 42-year-old firefighter who worked in Alicante died on Sunday while potholing in a cave located in the municipality of Pulpi, Almeria.
The man was exploring the Cueva de la Geoda in the Pilar de Jaravia area when he suffered a fatal fall. The deceased had been potholing with a companion, also a firefighter.
