Local Police in Rincón de la Victoria have arrested a 60-year-old man, J.L.R.R., for the alled crime of criminal damage after he was caught red-handed setting fire to rubbish containers.
Fires in containers on urbanisation Cotomar had become a daily occurrence and surveillance was set up to identify the culprit.
The detainee would reportedly set fire to plastic items and then deposit them in the rubbish containers. The amount of damaged caused by his actions have been estimated at €7,000.
