A Guardia Civil patrol boat has finally located the small boat which set sail from Algeria on Thursday and was thought to be somewhere off the coast of Almeria.
The boat, carrying 13 adult males, was located about ten miles from San Juan de los Terreros on the border of Almeria and Murcia and the occupants were taken to the port of Cartagena in Murcia.
A search involving boats and helicopters had been under way since Friday, although bad weather had been hampering efforts.
