Car hire companies on the Costa del Sol are booming. To the extent that the amount of cars registered by these companies in the province of Malaga has doubled, expecting that the Easter holiday will see a massive rise in bookings which will continue on through the summer.
The authorities have released figures that show that the Car Hire sector in Malaga has added 948 vehicles to their fleets during the first 3 months of 2015, doubling sales from the same period last year. 756 of these vehicles have been registered in March. The main makes of car are Opel with 199 registrations, Peugeot with 175 and Renault with 157.
