The March rains have caused movement of earth on a stretch of the A-92 in Viznar,Granada, at km 250.9, causing damage to the road and serious damage to the retaining wall, built in 2010 at a cost of €329,222.
Section of A-92 near Atarfe closed for one month
As from today, Wednesday, one lane of the A-92 near Atarfe, direction Sevilla, will be closed for one month to allow preparations for the future passage of the AVE high-speed rail link from Granada to Antequera.
A-92 suffers again
The A-92 highway has suffered once more as a result of the heavy rains with an eleven kilometre stretch near Diezma having to be closed due to subsidence and hillslides. The affected stretch is between km 271 and km 282 in the direction of Sevilla.
A-92 closed for repairs at km 247
The A-92 at km 247 is closed tonight and tomorrow while workmen try to repair the huge crater which appeared on the right lane.
