Manuel Escaño Quero has been elected president of the Vélez-Málaga Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs (ACEV). He replaces José Cotilla who resigned after members criticised his participation in the proposed new business park.
Empty commercial premises in Vélez-Málaga
According to a report by the Association of Traders and Businesses in Vélez-Málaga (ACEV), twenty-five percent of the commercial premises in the central streets of the town are currently closed as a result of the financial crisis.
Vélez-Málaga car park to open longer on Fridays
The El Carmen parking facility in Vélez-Málaga is to extend its opening hours on Fridays until 02:00 at the request of the Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs of Vélez (ACEV).
